One of the most electrifying forces on the New Orleans music scene is that of the High Voltage Band, a seven member R&B group that offers a variety musical styles. While they continue to make their original and distinct R&B mark, they are just as comfortable sampling Jazz, Reggae and the Blues.

This self-contained band was formed by leading bandmembers, Larry K. Poole and Larry Shelbia in 1975 during their high school years. The current stage show features two lovely female vocalist, Monique Rowe and Carol Williams, sure to excite the most demanding audiences.

HIGH VOLTAGE has several original music productions to their credit. Two singles("I want you in my life "1981 and "Devastin" 1987) and one current compact disc album with independent RAMPART STREET MUSIC("Faces of Love" 1995)

The group has performed locally, nationally and even abroad to Europe just last year with the widely acclaimed "New Orleans meets" tours. They have to their credit, a long list of radio and television appearances Stateside and in Europe.

They have been billed with such names as the O'Jays, Fats Domino, Rick James, Earth Wind & Fire, Gladys Knight and several others.

Once heard, you will be convinced too that HIGH VOLTAGE is truly a "shocking experience."
